Responsibilities:
Own Amperesand's embedded Linux platform
Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and methodologies in embedded systems
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, etc. or combined equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability
Experience with embedded Linux development systems such as Petalinux, Yocto, buildroot, etc.
Hands on experience with various microcontroller platforms and multicore architectures
Proficiency in C, C++, or similar language for embedded systems
Understanding of low-level programming and hardware interfacing
Knowledge of real-time programming concepts and real-time operating systems
Ability to write efficient code under resource constraints (memory, CPU, flash)
Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% including internationally
Excellent written and verbal communications in English
